Use Solar Products to Help Lower Utility Costs.

Here in Chadron, and almost everywhere else across the country, we have an abundance of sunlight, and we don’t have to pay money to get it. That’s why a SunSource® Home Energy System can save you so much money on your electric bills. Plus, the system can be expanded as your energy needs grow.

How does a solar energy system help lower utility costs?

Solar modules change energy from the sun into electricity that can be used in your home. Depending on the size and power of your equipment, you could generate enough energy to power a number of your appliances or potentially your whole home. If you examine a typical home’s yearly utility costs, about half of the total amount of energy used goes to powering heating and cooling systems. Even if your solar panels are just generating enough to power your heater and AC, your annual energy costs could still be cut in half because the energy used to power the HVAC systems was generated by the sun and not the utility grid. That accounts for some major savings!

Many residential solar systems could actually generate enough electricity to power other devices in your home, also. These can include other appliances, lights, TVs and computers, and everything else you’d plug into an electrical socket. That means you’d be paying very little, if anything at all, in bills to your local utility company in Chadron. If your system doesn’t produce enough to cover the entire house, that’s okay. Your system will be connected to the utility systems, enabling you to use electricity from the grid when your SunSource isn’t converting energy.
